Why choose ATR for your Paediatric First Aid Training?
How does our Paediatric First Aid course differ from standard first aid training?
Our Paediatric First Aid course is vital for anyone who works with infants or children specifically, as we cover things that standard first aid courses don’t. Some elements will be similar, such as checking breathing, the recovery position and CPR, however, there are some key differences. Our Paediatric First Aid course covers:
- More complex training on procedures specifically tailored for infants and children
- Various forms of CPR, specifically for non-breathing infants
- Specific treatment protocols for children including chest compression and defibrillation
