Advanced Physical Intervention

This 1 day training course is designed to build on the skills learnt on the Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors.

This course addresses the next level of physical intervention, it looks at the principles of pain compliance and how to get people up from the ground in a safe and controlled manner.

The aim is to enhance your physical intervention skills by giving you the additional tools that may be required for more robust situations, as well as giving you the knowledge to assess and balance the risks associated with using more robust techniques.

The course will refresh your knowledge on the law around the use of force and look at the ethical implications with the use of pain compliant techniques.

You must have completed an approved physical intervention programme from an SIA licence linked qualification before booking on this course.
